Programs

Currently we offer one program, which is the FTR Makeover Series. This series looks to educate members on the retraining and care of OTTBs, while also advocating for retraining as opposed to pensioning. Introduced in 2018, the Makeover Series focuses on OTTBs whom have most recently raced in the previous year. Owners were encouraged to actively participate during the series through write ups, role play, and leasing. Series awards were given out at the end, and it is a great time for all!

The 2019 FTR Makeover Series!
New for 2019, the series will run from January until June. OTTBs are welcome to join at any time, but it is recommended they register sooner than later to rack up those points!

Horses registered with the Makeover Series will compete in their respective associations, so horses will be able to acquire placements along the way! Each participating association (ODF, OEF, OHJA) will designate one show per month as the Makeover show. After results run, Shanny will keep track of points and away you go! If you're on auto entry, you don't have to even lift a finger to participate in the Makeover series. How cool is that!?
